

The conclusion I drew was that the plot and the Story were Nothing at all alike, but that the writing style was very much recognizable. Other Things to Mention before I move on to my actual Rating and review of the book: Naturally, with AFTG being my favourite trilogy ever, I couldn’t help comparing and contrasting the two in my mind, as I would imagine most Nora Sakavic fans do. But that’s all that I want to tell you before you actually read the book, because the plot is way too complicated for me to get into Right now, and alos because I just think it’s best if you find out for yourself. So there’s magic in the sense of ley lines, but also just all sorts of Supernatural creatures like small Dragons, ghosts, Vampires, werewolves, wood sprites (yes, I did spell that correctly) and many others. The short description starts making sense after you’ve read the first chapter, but let me give you a Brief introduction here: The main character, Evelyn Notte, a 32-year-old, is Living in a world like ours, except, as you would expect from an urban Fantasy novel, with a bit of a preternatural Twist.
